65.Home

Project 65 has been created to honour D-Day Veterans in particular the men who took part in the Coup de Main operation to capture the bridges over the Caen Canal and River Orne in the first combat operation of D-Day 65 years ago. The bridges are nowadays known as Pegasus and Horsa Bridges.

THEY DID IT!!!!

at precisely 0016hrs on Saturday 6th June 2009, almost 200 sponsored runners completed an epic run from Tarrant Rushton Airfield in Dorset to Pegasus Bridge, Normandy - a distance of 65miles!

The aim of the RUN TO PEGASUS is to raise funds for the care and support of those wounded whilst on active duty in the Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and British Army.

PLEASE help PROJECT 65 to reach it's £500,000 target by giving what you can. To donate, click on the fundraising dial at the top of this page. Alternatively, cheques can be made payable to 'Project 65' and sent to:

PROJECT 65, 15 Blenheim Road, Shortstown, Bedford MK42 0UY
